Sales Associates

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer 

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL 

 

Job Summary

The sale associate will direct and oversee the organization's sales policies, objectives, and initiatives.

Sets short- and long-term sales strategies and evaluates effectiveness of current sales programs.

The sale associate enhances sales staff performance, accomplishments, and competence by planning delivery of solutions, answering technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members, teaching improved processes and mentoring team members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Sale Associate supports an environment of teamwork and trust.  Collaborates with peers, customers, and supervisors. Recommends product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential. Develops product knowledge skills and remain aware of industry trends. Achieves and exceeds goals through sales strategies, clientele, sourcing new customers and maintaining and building productive long-term relationships with existing customers.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree with 5-10 years of experience in the field.

  • Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.

  • Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

  • Perform a variety of tasks.

  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports and making recommendations to management.

  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

  • Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans and monthly and annual territory analyses.

  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Computer literacy; Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Mail Chimp, Adobe Spark, Excel, Outlook, data entry

  • Good planning and organizational skills

  • Well-developed verbal, listening, and written communications skills

  • Ability to work independently or as a team player

  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
